Tatiana McChesney
*Accepting New Clients*
Originally from Brazil, Tatiana McChesney’s journey into massage therapy began with a life-changing trip to Thailand in 2005. Under the guidance of Master Mactherdchai of Chiang Mai and Jonas Westring, she immersed herself in the art of Thai Massage. Inspired by this experience, Tatiana became a licensed massage therapist in 2009, specializing in Deep Tissue and Therapeutic work.
Always seeking to expand her skills, she earned her certification in Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy® in 2011. This unique technique allows her to use her feet—applying deep, consistent pressure with her heels, insteps, and toes—while balancing on bars secured to the ceiling. It’s an ideal method for relieving tension in tight ligaments, shoulders, and hips.
In September 2023, Tatiana faced a personal challenge—a shoulder injury that required bicep tendon reattachment surgery. Following the procedure, she developed post-surgery frozen shoulder, a painful and limiting condition. This experience deepened her passion for helping others regain mobility and flexibility, particularly in the neck, shoulders, back and arms.
Each session with Tatiana is uniquely tailored to how you feel that day and what your body needs. She integrates essential oils, hot stones, hot towels, cupping, and percussion massage therapy to enhance relaxation and recovery.
Tatiana is available for appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
Rob Phipps
Rob practices an integrated, intuitive style of massage where various techniques are applied based on each client's particular needs in every session. Rather than relying on heavy pressure, Rob prefers a range of pressures from light to moderately deep, focusing on techniques that target the muscles responsible for the tension– which are often NOT the muscles that are tight or painful! The overall goal of treatment is to return the body to a state of muscular balance which decreases the likelihood of injury, while alleviating pain and discomfort.
In his 17 years of experience in the field, he has worked alongside physical therapists, orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors, and acupuncturists. This diverse professional environment has enriched Rob's knowledge in anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology, enhancing his massage practice. His expertise includes advanced training in massage techniques specifically tailored to alleviate neck pain and address dysfunctions related to whiplash.
Rob's practice is not just rooted in massage therapy, it is also deeply influenced by his personal journey. He was drawn to explore direct-path teachings of self-discovery and spiritual awakening which continue to shape every aspect of his life and work, bringing a unique depth to his approach to massage therapy and life in general.
Rob is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and will eventually be a practicing Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.
Brianna Housman
Brianna earned her degree in Behavioral Sciences with a concentration in counseling at the University of Southern Maine in 2017. Her yearning to help others later led her to the Spa Tech Institute where she earned her Maine massage therapy license. She later gained experience in various settings including wellness centers, spas and chiropractic offices.
Brianna’s passion for massage partly comes from working through her own personal struggles. Her experiences with chronic health issues led her to seek out alternative healthcare practices, which led her to lymphatic massage. By putting more focus into her lymphatic health, she saw many of her symptoms subside and now feels inspired to share her knowledge with those who can benefit.
Brianna’s massage practice now centers around helping those with autoimmune conditions and chronic pain. She specializes in Manual Lymph Drainage and is a Certified Manual Lymph Drainage Therapist (CMLDT). This modality stimulates the body’s lymphatic response through gentle, rhythmic strokes. Waste products are moved away from tissues where they can accumulate and cause a variety of health issues. This modality provides symptomatic relief from migraine headaches, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic fatigue, and Lyme disease, among other conditions. This work is also very effective in treating post-surgical and post-traumatic swelling. Additionally, lymphatic work is very relaxing and can help with sleep quality and chronic stress. *Brianna requires booking at least 48 hours prior to appointment time. Phone consultation is required prior to appointment to talk about client's goals. Brianna will reach out via text to schedule consultation.*
Brianna believes that massage can play an important role in moving the needle towards improving quality of life. From personal experience, she understands the emotional and spiritual effect of chronic health issues and aims to not just provide comforting touch but a listening ear as well. Brianna takes pride in being part of her client’s support system and circle of care. She looks forward to seeing you in the office and helping you in your journey towards good health.
Brianna is available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
